YOU CAN DO IT!
WE'RE ROOTING FOR YOU, ASRIEL!!
Oh, WAIT! ASRIEL!
Be careful for us.
Asriel took a step back. He could feel his body unstabilizing. In a about an hour, he would actually BE Flowey again. Frisk's Soul wasn't enough to sustain this form for very long.
Once Flowey was in complete Omega form, he launched a barrage of 'Flowey' missiles at Asriel.
Asriel tried his best to dodge, but he was knocked down by a missile and hit the ground, with missiles exploding on him every half second.
"Aww, the poor child can't dodge?" Omega Flowey laughed. "Too bad."
Omega Flowey picked Asriel up with one of his 'arms'.
"You can give up now, before you get seriously hurt." He said. "Or, of course, I could kill you in a painful, drawn out way!"
"You can't kill me." Asriel growled. "If I die, you die, remember?"
"Asriel, Asriel, Asriel..." the Omega flower chuckled. "That doesn't apply anymore! Now that you've summoned me in a physical form, and I have your human Souls, I can live forever in the mortal realm! And I can do it without you being alive at all."
Asriel suddenly realized his mistake. Summoning Flowey was not the way to stop this. It only made things worse. He should have used the approach he used earlier. He should have tried to bring the 'Asriel' out of Flowey, not provoke the Flowey side of him by trying to attack.
Asriel had been, a, well, idiot. That was the only way he could describe himself.
"... I'm really sorry." He mumbled. "I made the wrong decision. I shouldn't have tried to hurt you, Flowey."
"... What?" Omega Flowey raised an eyebrow. "Is there something wrong with you? You're supposed to cower in fear!"
Asriel looked up at him. There were tears in his eyes, but a smile on his face. "Hey, Flowey." "Do you really want to be called that?"
"... Not really." the evil flower mumbled.
"Well, i'm just going to call you Asriel then." Asriel giggled.
The giant Omega creature slowly morphed back into Flowey.
"What are you trying to do?!" He demanded. "Are you trying to change my mind?!"
"Precisely." Asriel smiled. "I realized my mistake. I shouldn't have attacked you."
Flowey was silent for a long time. "Then you shouldn't have done it in the first place." He said, finally. "I have feelings too, you know."
Then, before Asriel could say anything, Flowey disappeared into the ground.
"... Feelings..?" Asriel mumbled. "He doesn't have feelings. He's emotionless." "... Right?"
Asriel pondered what Flowey said for a while. Flowey probably didn't mean he was full of emotions or anything. He probably meant that Asriel hurt his feelings. That made sense.
It'd been about 40 minutes since Flowey stole the human Souls from Asriel. Asriel had walked all the way to Hotland, looking for Flowey, and his body was constantly shaking.
"Hang in there, Asriel." He told himself. "Everything is gonna be okay."
"Hey." A voice came from behind him. "When are you going to see me? How long do you have to go, anyway?"
Asriel whipped around to see Flowey staring at him with a strange expression on his face.
"I have feelings too, you know." He repeated from earlier. "And you left me behind."
Asriel was silent.
"You forgot me, Asriel. Everyone forgot me. And you know what? It hurt. A lot. I was so lonely, Asriel! No one would play with me for the months that everyone lived in 'peace'." Flowey growled. "You abandoned me, Asriel! You ENJOYED forgetting me! You ENJOYED abandoning me!" "You left me behind, because you didn't like me. You didn't care about me, Asriel."
"But, Flowey, I-"
"You HATED me. You hate everything this very moment. You wish I never came back, so that you could have your 'peaceful life' back." "Well, you won't get it. I'm in control now, Asriel, and you're not. I'll destroy anything and anyone that didn't like me. Then they'll see their mistakes."
Asriel frowned. "I didn't mean to forget you, Flowey."
"Yes you did, Asriel. You tried your best to forget me. Whenever you thought about me, you'd immediately start thinking about something else, because you hated me. Because you hated being me. What if you still were me? What if we were switched? What if you were in my position?"
"Flowey, please, forgive me for my mistake. Don't take it out on everyone." Asriel pleaded. "They don't deserve it."
"Oh, but they do, Asriel. They hated me too. They forgot about me." Flowey grabbed Asriel by the neck with a vine, and pulled him closer. "You'll see. Everyone will see what happens when they break an already broken person."
Asriel made no sound. All he did was nod.
Flowey slowly made the vine let go. "Go on, Asriel, I want to hear what you have to say."
Asriel took a deep breath, then spoke. "Flowey, I started this. I began killing because my friend did. I wanted revenge. But I was an idiot. I made a huge mistake. And I also made a mistake by forgetting you, Flowey."
"Please, you don't have to make a mistake. You can stop now. You can save everyone from the consequences of my mistakes."
