Oh, i'm writing again.
I have some ideas on what i'm gonna do, so, um...
Be very afraid.
"Everything is the way it's supposed to be."
"What's THAT supposed to mean?!" Asriel demanded. "I'm not supposed to be killing everyone!"
"Oh, but you are, Asriel." The figure he was speaking to began to change. In a few moments, the figure was very familiar indeed. It was Flowey.
Asriel stepped back. Flowey wasn't someone he thought he'd ever have to see again.
"What do you want with me?" He asked, afraid of what Flowey would say.
"I want to take over you again." Flowey chuckled.
"... What... does that mean?" Asriel raised an eyebrow.
Flowey made an annoyed expression. "It means you're gonna be a killer again." Flowey explained. "It means that you're going to be ME again. I'm corrupting your mind as we speak, Asriel." "Eventually, i'll control your mind as well as your body."
"No you won't!" Asriel retorted. "I'll stop you! I'll fight you!"
"You know you can't, Asriel." Flowey said calmly. "You couldn't fight me when you were me. How can you stop yourself from becoming me again? When Frisk began to kill, it triggered memories of me. That's how i'm back." "You can blame all of this on Frisk, if you want."
"No, it's not Frisk's fault. It's mine. I wanted revenge, and by doing what I did, I... I made you stronger." Asriel admitted. "It's all my fault."
"If that's what you want to think." Flowey began to wrap Asriel in vines. "Once i'm finished, no one will remember the real you anymore, 'Asriel'."
Frisk was heartbroken as they walked back towards the Ruins. If Alphys was gone, the Reset button corrupted, and their best friend, Asriel, insane... what could they do then? Nothing. Nothing. They had always relied on SAVEing, LOADing, RESETing. But if the Reset button is corrupted, the other functions of their 'game' are too. Is it too late to learn how to fight without total invincibility? They tried their best to convince themself that it was possible. It was their only hope now. Frisk. Frisk was everyone's only hope. Asriel would not stop by himself. As much as it broke Frisk's heart, Asriel would have to die. It's the only solution.
"ASRIEL!" Frisk called through the door of the Ruins. "I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU!"
They began to hear footsteps. Someone was coming.
Asriel was there. Standing in front of them. His knife was in his hand. His eyes were filled with madness. "This isn't Asriel..." Frisk whispered to themself. Even the Asriel that killed Toriel didn't look like that. This isn't him. This is someone else. "Who are you?" Frisk asked, afraid.
Asriel didn't answer. Even though he was there, with his eyes open and his knife drawn, he seemed... unconscious. As if his real self had fallen into a deep sleep, and someone else had taken over in that time.
Frisk decided to make the first move.
Rushing at Asriel, they drew their own knife and slashed at him, cutting off all of his left hand's fingers. As the disembodied fingers fell to the ground, turning to dust, Frisk prepared to make another move. But they didn't have time to. Asriel reacted quickly to their attack and stabbed them, barely missing Frisk's chest and instead stabbing their arm with his knife.
Frisk cried out in pain, then dropped to the ground. Asriel let go of his knife, allowing it to stay in Frisk's arm, then he took Frisk's knife out of their hand.
"Any last words?" Asriel chuckled.
"Y-Yes..." Frisk said weakly. "I hate you."
Asriel let out a laugh. "That's to be expected, Frisk." He said, raising his knife.
Then he stopped. He dropped the knife to the ground, and it landed next to Frisk.
"R-Run, Frisk, run..." He cried. "Before i-it's too late..."
Frisk quickly got up and ran. They ran as fast as they could. They ran as far as they could. Then they finally stopped, out of breath.
They didn't know what was going on, but they knew that once they were ready, they should start running again. Asriel isn't Asriel anymore. Again, their heart was broken. Asriel was the only Dreemurr left. Asriel was Frisk's best friend. But now, he's not Asriel. He's someone else.
____________________________Asriel fought. He fought as hard as he could to stop Flowey from taking over his body again. If he failed to stop Flowey this time, the only way to stop killing was to die, and dying couldn't be an option. It wasn't an option.
"You won't stop me, Flowey!!" Asriel screamed. "I'll fight you!! I'm stronger than you are!!"
Asriel began to feel himself drifting into unconsciousness.
"No..." "Not yet..!" Asriel fought with all of his heart. He pushed Flowey away. He thought hard about all of his friends, his family. If he stopped fighting, they would all die. He knew that. He knew that even Frisk couldn't stop Flowey. He was everyone's only hope.
But he couldn't fight forever.
