I know I made Part 2 earlier today... but I feel good enough to write some more.
IT'S TIME FOR PART 3, PEOPLE!
This was their second day without water. They were just a child. If they didn't get out today, they'd die from dehydration.
They looked at the lock on the door. If only they could pick it with something...
they looked around for something, anything. They found nothing. They almost collapsed from exhaustion onto the ground.
"If only I hadn't been so stupid..." They cried weakly. "This is all my fault... I never should have used this knife..."
They threw their knife across the room as hard as they could. Then they stared at it. They could pick the lock with that! They quickly got up and grabbed the knife again, then pressed it into the hole that was the lock. After what seemed like an hour(but was really just 5 minutes) the lock finally gave free, and the door opened.
Frisk picked up their pack and bolted out of the dungeon.
Then they stopped.
There was a pile of dust on the ground. It looked like it'd been there a while.
"... Undyne..." They stared at the dust for a while, then forced a smile. "Goodbye Undyne... i'll save them for you..."
After saying goodbye, they hurried off for Waterfall. They needed a drink before they tried to prevent a Genocide coming from Asriel.
At Waterfall, they first bought some food from Gerson, then they went to a river and drank from it until they felt normal again.
"Time to go stop a rampaging monster, I guess." They mumbled. It kind of bothered them that they had to stop Asriel, if it really was him. Asriel was their friend. If he really was killing people, would they have to kill him? They'd rather die then him. They trusted him. They still trust him, at least more then they trust themself.
"Hey, Frisk." A whisper came from behind them, sending a chill down their spine. "I almost gave you up for dead."
Frisk slowly turned their head to face the person behind them. It was Asriel.
"Hey... long time no see..." Frisk forced a smile. "Look, i'm sorry that I threatened you, and-"
"Shut up." Asriel growled. "Do you know what happened after you said that?"
"... No... what happened..?"
"I started to think about what you said. I knew I didn't want to die. Not again. So you know what I decided in the end?"
"I decided that I was going to kill dad myself."
Frisk gasped. Asriel killed his own father? Why would he... wait.
'He must have used the same reasoning I did... 'I know I don't want to do it, so i'm convincing myself that I do'' Frisk thought sadly.
"I... I'm sorry... that I made you do that..."
"I said SHUT UP." Asriel snapped as he grabbed Frisk by the neck. "You're right. It IS your fault. And I don't care that you're 'nice' again, because i'm going to destroy everything and everyone you love."
"... M-Mercy..." Frisk choked.
"There will be no mercy for you, Frisk." Asriel growled. "... After I let you watch all of your friends die."
Asriel let go of Frisk, letting them drop to the ground, gasping for air.
"And guess who i'm going to kill next?" "Mom."
When Frisk looked up, Asriel was gone.
'It's over.' A voice inside seemed to tell them. 'There's nothing you can do.'
"No!" Frisk jumped up. "I need to stop him! He's just confused! He's not an enemy!" "I need to help him!"
Frisk ran off as fast as they could in the direction of the Ruins. They couldn't let Toriel die, too. That would be too much of a loss to ever get over.
"MOM!" Frisk screamed as they reached the Ruins door. "MOM! ARE YOU IN THERE?"
They pulled the door open and ran inside.
Then they stopped. Asriel was there. He was next to Toriel, staring at Frisk.
"Mom, it's Frisk!" Asriel hid behind Toriel. "They must've come to try to kill you again!"
Toriel made a wall of fire between her and Frisk.
"Hey, what?" Frisk stared hard at Asriel. "You said that you were going to kill her! I came here to stop you!"
Asriel looked wide-eyed at them. "Mom, they're trying to trick you! Don't let your guard down!"
Frisk didn't know what to think. Was Asriel pretending? Was he sincere?
"But... Asriel... you said..." Frisk stuttered. "Asriel, what's going on? Are you pretending?"
Asriel smirked. "Yes."
Before Frisk or Toriel could react, Asriel pulled out a knife and stabbed it through Toriel's chest, killing her in seconds.
As her body turned to dust, Frisk looked on in horror.
"N-No!!" Frisk fell onto their knees and cried. They cried harder and harder. Toriel was like a real mother to them. Now she was gone. She was dead. And it was Frisk's fault.
Asriel stood there, staring at Frisk. A grin spread across his face.
Frisk wiped their tears, and looked up at him. "Y-You're a monster..." They sniffled.
"I know." "But if you're crying right now, you'll be doing a lot more of it when i'm done." Asriel winked, then in a flash he was gone. Frisk didn't go after him. Again, the voice came into their head.
