He looked at me and growled "a talking wolf is the least of your concerns" “What do you mean?” I ask.
He growls yet again and I start backing off, nervous that he’ll attack. He steps closer and my instinct makes me take a step back.
“I am the guardian of the forbidden forest’s entrance” he said, “My name is Sebastian, and I will not let you pass.”
I start freaking out, and without warning, he takes a ginormous leap and pins me to the ground. As I try to struggle free from his grasp, he howled so loud that I swear he shook the forest, “Stop squirming, you’re making this harder than it should be!!”. Shaking I stop, I can’t help but notice that he is wounded. “ You have a thorn in your paw” I say weakly, I notice that Sebastian’s expression changes. Thinking of how thoughtful that was. I know he wants to let me go, but as I try to speak again he tightens his grip. I struggle for air and scream as his claws meet my flesh. I scream again and instinct takes over as I try to kick his underbelly. After a few tries I finally manage to fling him off, pinning him to the ground as he did to me before. He screeches as I grab my wooden dagger and push it into his hind leg. As I regain control, I stumble back and start shaking my head, and notice that he is even more wounded than he was before. I start scavenging for some leaves and cobwebs to put on his wounds. Later, I find him lying in a different spot than before. “Sebastian, I’m just here to help you”, “And how do I know I can trust you?” he says. “Because I am Stephanie, and I help animals get healed”, “just try not to stab me again or else I’ll have to get the queen’s royal guards” he snarls at me. “ Ok,ok, just stay calm, this might sting a little bit but I’m sure you’ll be fine otherwise”. A few hours later, I’m done with my work on healing Sebastian. “Phew, I’m done, well I guess I’ll be on my way” I say turning around to walk into the forest. “Take care, and I have one question, how’d you get this far?”, “Well, I like to keep it as my little secret but, I guess we’re friends now so I like to call this DETERMINATION!”. He looks confused, a little later he says, “Ok, thanks for telling me”
