She came out
"Hey guys. You're looking at me expectantly. Is Thyme here? Is Quiana okay?" She paused. "Ruby D. Stellie." she said.
"I'm Susanna Sunset Milli, and this is my friend, Shimmer, is Thyme that creepy looking lady in black next to you?" Ruby swivelled around and said,
"That does appear to be her! And there's her counterpart!"
Quiana came round the corner, and the girl called Thyme narrowed her eyes.
"Come here" said Ruby, motioning to Quiana.
"Why?" asked Quiana, pointing at Thyme, "She wants to kill me!"
"We know" said Ruby, dragging her in as we trudged in as well. Just in time, as a teacher came striding round the corridor. The girl called Thyme was glaring at Quiana with hatred, though Ruby meant well. We appeared in a grassy field, Susi put a mark on the wall of the building we'd come out of, and started cartwheeling away.
"D'ya know where you're going?" Called Ruby, and Susi nodded. Soon we'd arrived at a city, medieval yet new. Some woodland creatures came up behind us, but didn't leave the forest, so we were okay. We entered the city, and wound through the streets, through market places and people chatting happily, but one thing was the same.
This was middle ages stuff. Nothing modern. Nothing futuristic. Everyone had expected anything but THIS.
"Our reputation was ruined" explained a passer-by. "Everything we had just vanished. It's those Jewellie children that do it, going and killing themselves off." She didn't know there was a Jewellie child RIGHT THERE.
"They say there's only one left, which is good, 'cause we have nothing left to lose!" said one man when we asked him.
"Don't worry" I muttered, so no one heard. "I've got no intention of 'killing myself off' either."
Ruby was the first to the castle, even though she had to carry Thyme as well as herself. She opened the door and there was a girl sitting on a cushioned stool in the middle of the room. Her head was bent, and it slowly lifted, revealing a long brown plait over her shoulder and green eyes. She was wearing purple.
"What have you brought me today, Ruby?" she asked, in a strange accent I'd never heard before. Ruby bowed, still holding Thyme's handcuffs.
"Thyme the Mystique." she said, shaking the handcuffs. "She must be real because we found her counterpart as well" she said, pointing at Quiana with her other hand. The other girl nodded.
"The others?" she asked.
"Lemme check" hurried Ruby. "Who are you guys again?" she hissed.
"I'm Susanna and this is Shimmer" Said Susi.
"Jewellie, Shimmer?" asked the girl. I nodded.
"I'm Lana Stellie. I expect you'll be seeing more of us Stellie, there are a lot of us because the family we're counterparts of had a lot of children. We only know six Stellie, but we guess there are more"
"Yep." said Ruby. "There's me, Lana, Mara, Opal, Teleportation and-"
"We haven't tracked all of their names yet." finished Lana. "Du- Ruby, will you be so kind as to take Shimmer away and" Ruby nodded and led me through a doorway. I could hear Quiana shouting something about history next door, as I asked,
"You have a map?"
"Of course I have a map!" exclaimed Ruby, bringing one out and looking insulted. "I live here!" She spread it over the table in a flourish- almost TOO quick. I studied it.
"That's where we came from" I said, pointing at a 'white studio'. "But. . . what's that?"
"The rebel base." sighed Ruby. "Where the rebels live. Thyme, Opal, that sort of thing." I nodded, barely having any idea what was going on, and who Thyme and Opal were. After that, it just became a pleasant Geography lesson.
I forgot about Shine.
I hope after reading this part you know more about the MirrorVerse! I've only used my characters in this part, but next part. . . Is written slightly differently. . . XD
