A warrior cats roleplay set in the jungle/rainforest.
Rules are at the bottom, please read them!
NOTICE-- Alright, so we're in a completely different climate than in the Warriors books, so the plants wouldn't be the same. But, even though it doesn't make any scientific sense, we'll still use most of the original herbs because we can't come up with more.
VineClan can travel through even the thickest, most tangled up patches of jungle growth without getting lost or stuck. They can weave vines together in order to make small platform-like things for their dens. They live in the thickest part of the forest, where the trees are draped heavily in vines and the branches tangle together. Only they can successfully find their way around in there. Their camp is suspended above the forest floor, where a tangle of vines and branches is thick enough that it didn't even need to be woven to be used as a platform. It is surrounded by large, colorful flowers that give off scents strong enough to hide the scent of their camp.
TreeClan are highly adept at everything done in trees. Hunting, fighting, patrolling, living-- their camp is even in the branches of a huge banyan. They've adapted to be the best at gripping and climbing wood, their balance is spectacular (even for cats) and they can walk on even the highest and thinnest branches of a tree without fear of falling. The other Clans rarely go into their territory, as one can never tell if a patrol of TreeClan warriors is watching from just a few yards above one's head.
FloodClan lives closest to water, and when floods and flash floods come they don't retreat to the high ground like most cats do. Their camp is made on a fallen tree in a small pond, and it drifts, rises, and falls with the water. Highly adept at swamp and water hunting, they stay on the ground when water levels rise, while the other Clans take shelter in high places. It is nigh impossible to get to their camp when they maneuver it to the center of the pond and defend from the shore or the water.
CaveClan lives in a cave system underground that can only be accessed through a split in the rock at the top of a hill. They have excellent night vision and are sometimes compared to bats. Their cave's entrance is high enough to avoid floods, but low enough that they have tree cover overhead. They mainly hunt at night, and can move unseen in shadows. Their camp is lit up by bioluminescent moss and naturally glowing crystals, and only they can find their way to it through the winding cave tunnels.
-FloodClan and VineClan recently had a fight over their borders. VineClan eventually had to retreat, and the borders remain unchanged.
-A Gathering is coming up in a quarter moon
--There is now a project with maps of all four camps. If you want to know the layout of one or all of them, take a look at it.
SEASONS & WEATHER:
The season is (summer).
The weather is as humid as ever, but it brings less storms and more overbearing heat. Floods are less common and the insect life is even crazier than normal.

TreeClan's banyan is not the biggest tree in the forest. It's just the biggest one in that area, and is taller than the trees around it.
The pictures on the map that help identify which territory is what and show where the camps are, are NOT actual size.
The Clans are NOT just rainforest versions of ThunderClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan.
No cussing.(or anything similar)
If an argument between RPers gets bad enough (or happens in the first place) , don't be afraid to get a manager involved.
No killing unless the RPers involved (plus a manager) agree that the death should happen.
No invasions or other major inter-Clan conflicts without building up to it in the RP on all sides of said conflict and the approval of a manager.
You may have more than one character. In fact, I would prefer it if you did.
Kits cannot exist without mothers. If you want to have a kit, you must either make its mother or ask someone else (such as moi) to make the queen for you.
No superpowers like lightning or fire or wings or anything like those. Stormseer's ability occurs naturally, although rarely, among humans and animals, so it isn't a superpower. Other abilities like it (ones that occur naturally) may be used, just make sure it's fine with me or another manager. It most likely will be.
Please don't make any remarks along the lines of: 'Lightstar knew there were only two cats in his Clan,' or 'Now, there were only three cats in CaveClan, but there were sure to be more soon.' Even if there are only a few controlled characters in a Clan, the Clan still has other cats in it. You can say that your cat is on hunting patrol with three others, but you don't have to go making up names and personalities for them. Every Clan is already full, so don't mention the fact that the only two named cats are a warrior and the medicine cat, or the leader and a kit.
