You do NOT have to read, this is just a vent.
Just over a week ago, I fostered 5 kittens.
One of them, X-Ray, started to slow down eating and loose weight about 5 days ago. A couple days ago, he stopped eating altogether and would throw up anything we gave him, and refused to eat anything.
I, being the owner and caretaker of the kittens, had to feed him every hour or two to keep him alive. I had to feed him special high-calorie food by syringe because of how sick he was becoming.
He started to become lathargic and weak, so weak that he would just flop down in your arms limply and sleep all day. He was skinny to the point he was a literal skeleton, because you could see plainly his skeletal structure.
He lost 25% of his body weight in 5 days.
When his state started to get critical, me and my dad rushed him to the emergency room.
The vets did their best, but he was so sick and in so much pain he had to be peacefully put down.
He died only a couple hours ago.
Thanks for reading, it means a lot VwV
