**If you are new to this studio, then please read the following**
Hi everyone! Welcome to the Pig Latin Studio (Also known as PLS because nobody wants to type in "Igpay Atinlay Tudiosay" every time you want to say "Pig Latin Studio, XD)! Anybody can join! If you have never heard of Pig Latin or don't know what it is, then I am here to tell you. Pig Latin is a "constructed language game in which words in English are altered according to a simple set of rules."
To make a word Pig Latin, just follow these simple instructions:
1. Take the first letter of the chosen word to the back of the word. For example, if I wanted to use "lemon", then I would move the "l" to the back, thus making the word "emonl"
2. Add the suffix "ay" to the end. This step is added to confuse someone who does not know Pig Latin. The word "emonl" is changed to "emonlay".
3. Construct a sentence! Pig Latin has the same grammar rules as English, so if you wanted to say, for example, "Lemons are yummy," you would say "Emonslay reaay ummyyay." To translate a Pig Latin sentence to English can take a while, though. A fast method that I use to is ignore the "ay" suffix and mentally add the third to last letter of the Pig Latin word to the front, and spell it out.
Well, there you go! Please only speak Pig Latin in the studio (there is an exception, but you have to read on to know), but if you are having trouble, then here is a link to a fun Pig Latin translator:
Thank you so much to @HappyParakeet for the project!
If you still don't feel comfortable speaking Pig Latin, then just speak any official language BUT English! (I guess Pig Latin isn't really an official language either LOL), but please also add the translation in brackets or something.
There are a few things that are not included in Pig Latin: Emojis, abbreviations, etc. I mean, it would be a bit confusing if you wanted to say for example, Pig Latin Inc., but if you wrote it as Igpay Atinlay Ncl.ay, it might be a bit confusing, so...
I'm sorry peeps, but there's still a bit more! I haven't stated the rules yet, hehe.
~Anybody can manage (if you are not manager then post a reminder in the comments section!)
~All projects welcome!
~No swearing, rudeness, etc.
~Please no changing the description unless there's a typo
~If you are manager, then you can change the studio thumbnail once but that's it (sorry)
Okay, WHEW, I know right, it's finally over! You can start spamming that comments section with languages! Thanks, and have fun! XD
P.S. I'm going to go around randomly adding people to this studio, so if you don't feel like curating, then feel free to not accept the invitation :)
P.P.S. Even if you don't want to speak in a language, you can still add you projects to this studio just to gain loves/favorites (LOL I do that all the time)
P.P.P.S. Oh and don't forget to teach your friends Pig Latin XD
