A device was released into the atmosphere in 8014, a bomb used as a war device. This, however, polluted the air with a deadly green fog. This wiped out all humans, reptiles, and half the insects.
What was left of the massive cities throughout the world? The pets of humans. They have no choice but to evolve to survive, being immune to the fog.
Or so they thought.
The fog forced dogs to be in a rabid state, except the disease would never kill them. It could be passed by a single bite. (If infected, if not they're normal)
As for cats, (when infected) they morphed into an awful creature, scales replacing most of their fur. They live only to kill, and can only be killed if they're skull is heavily cracked. (The morphing only occurs when they're infected by a dog, forgot to add that)
Every other animal is immune, but death is still a constant threat for them as well.
Will anyone survive the Infection?
-You do need permission to infect another's character, and also need permission to kill them altogether.
-No power playing- you're limited to the basics of the specie you chose.
-Make everything at least PG-13
- No clanning, I don't want to see a ton of cats getting together and defending a piece of territory!
-Do not roleplay with your character until after a manger has confirmed it's okay.
Cats cannot pass the infection, only dogs can.
Uninfecteds are normal animals :3
You can live in the Deserted City, the Ruined Forest, or The Demolished Countryside
These are what I call Biomes here :3
Other: (Please include if you're infected here)

**I think I might write a book on this, so if I have permission I'll use some of the most active role players' characters and several of the events in here. Please include if that's okay ***You WILL be credited
