The world has been overtaken by 12 giants, wielding remarkable powers. All fight against them have fallen with the exception of two groups: The Gold, and a rather new organisation, the Fray. Both have proven harmless without the power of the giants, which may be just the problem. The Fray have somehow managed to form a weapon that sucks away at the giant's energy, making it available for their own use. This drives the wielder into a maddened fury, mercilessly cutting down all who happen to pass by. Obviously, if someone has the power to stop the giants, he or she has the power to rule all as well. Meanwhile, Leath Sherrol (the leader of the Gold) has discovered something even worse. Twelve locks for twelve giants lock a particularly large box. Every time a giant falls, a lock breaks. As this goes on, the bullet eaters roam the land freely, fighting amongst themselves, helping the Gold, but never living anything close to a peaceful life.
- Yes, you can be a giant.
- Please read the description of what faction or character type you choose.
- This is set in a semi-modern age, so no gamma gun or lasers for weapons.
- NO CUSSING!!! OK???
- Don't go overboard on the violence. GOOD: With a loud bang he crumpled to the ground... Dead. BAD: (Any scene out of happy tree friends)
The Gold: The last of the heroes. Work against the giants, but avoid any immoral methods. Are spread throughout the globe, with secrecy as their greatest priority.
The Fray: Many of its members disagree with their leader's decisions, but the Fray are by far the most successful. After making several hit-and-run attacks and constant quests to discover the giant's weakness, they have diverted all of their attention to the lethal weapons that the Fray has finally discovered. Unlike the Gold, they have founded a HQ deep under the earth's surface.
The giants: Monstrous creatures with almost the exact appearance of a human, only three times taller. Cannot be wounded by anything, other than the one's the Fray use to suck away their powers. Have the ability turn humans into their own mindless soldiers, practically zombies. This process involves killing the test subject, which is the main reason the humans fear the giants so much. Giants can also telepathically call to any living humans, urging them to come nearer with an almost uncontrollable force. Some of them also have an extra ability, due to tampering with their own body.
Human: Can occasionally go against the giants, but many of these stories don't end well. Often terrified of being the next "game" or "test" with the giants.
Bullet munchers: A creature that is supposedly real, but this is not known for sure. It travels through the world almost unnoticed by anyone which the bullet muncher does not want to be seen by. It got its name from the scraps of metal the bullet muncher chews on like gum. Its face has never been seen before, often covered by a mask or by other means. Bullet munchers sometimes merely watch the ones they reveal themselves to... Silently. But other times they pass on hints and clues to problems a human is having, quietly, but never in such a serious way. It is rare for one to speak, but it has happened in the past. Such cases usually involve the bullet muncher telling their version a joke, which is a two or three sentence story involving the uncanny demise of another.
Bullet eaters: Are supposedly half bullet muncher, having the same metal-eating habits. Are commonly ignored, confused for being passive which is mostly true, but only to a certain extent. Some bullet eaters strive for adventure, and possibly even justice. Each one has three lives to live upon, reborn in a relatively young body (8-18) upon death. Are masters of fighting, and usually prefer short ranged weapons due to their agility.
Litch: A very rare being that holds its body together using a particularly complicated mechanism often kept hidden. The device disables much pain, allows the litch to carry on while heavily damaged, and heals any wound over time. Most stay below the surface in the sewers and tunnels.
Black litch: Like a normal litch, it sustains itself by using a particular object that it keeps well hidden. Only this time, the litch can absorb the life of another living thing, obtaining a massive amount of strength from each victim, and enough energy to continue moving after what would normally be a mortal wound.
Giant's blade: The weapon that sucks away at a giant's power. Comes in various blade types.
Guns: Machine guns are not yet invented, but basic hand guns are commonly used.
Knockout gas: Comes in both traps and spray bottles. Very useful for taking captives alive.
