Story:
After Chara posed a human that fell and proceeded to kill all monsters rumors foretold that some humans were able to absorb the dead monsters souls.
(Omega(Flowey) is still alive though)
They also were able to make dead human bodies absorb some of the regular monster souls. As a result of this they made fusions of humans and monsters.
A few years later a child called Frisk climb up the mountain because of curiosity. They tripped and fell into their new journey in the Underground.
