On September 11, 2001, 19 members of Al Qaeda hijacked 4 Boeing 767 passenger planes.
At 8:46 AM, American Airlines Flight 11 was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.
17 minutes later, United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
These two buildings have never been rebuilt.
At 9:37, American Airlines Flight 77 hits the Pentagon in Arlington
10:03, the final plane, United Airlines Flight 93, was flown towards the US Capitol Building. The passengers attempted to regain control of the aircraft. Realizing that the passengers would overcome them, the hijackers intentionally crashed the plane into a field in Stonycreek Township near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
In all, 2,996 people were killed, and 6,000+ injured. This is the worst terror incident to have occurred in the world.
But we need to remember. In this hostile world we currently live in, there is always hope. There is always a way through. We can get through. Together. Because we are strong. Together.
Always remember. The eleventh of September
