NOTE: Please, no power-hunting! If your not sure what that is, here is an example:
star pounces at baby fox and grabs it
"juniper look" star said eating her catch
Although it was a fox cub, you cant just pounce on it and eat it. Plus, wolves dont eat foxes. It's considered cannibalism, because they are to closely related.
Here is another one:
Rose caught a baby deer, while Juniper caught nothing "Look!" said Rose, holding the baby deer.
A pup cant catch a elk fawn. That is crazy. Elk fawns are bigger than wolf cubs. So please, dont power hunt.
Here is the hunting grounds! A large herd of elk roams this land, as well as a few stray moose. There are also rabbit, and other rodents. This place is rich of prey, but beware, the food attracts foxes, bears and lone wolves. Defend this territory with your life, for if the Pine did not have it, they would die.
There is a lake, near the corner of the Pine territory. Many trainees have tried to play on the ice, and had fallen through, drowning. The good thing about it, is that once in a while a moose will venture out on the thin ice, and not be able to get back to land. It is very easy to hunt prey this way, with them sliding everywhere and not being able to escape.
INFO ABOUT HUNTING:
Its better to hunt injured female elk, and baby elk, and elderly elk rather than healthy adults. They travel in herds, with the young and elderly protected in the middle.
Rabbits are much bigger than most rpers expect. Most ppl imagine them as the fluffy little bunnys we keep as pets sometimes, but in the wild, they are not. They are pretty big, (For a rabbit) and very fast. Often they escape before anyone can catch them. It takes fast legs and good stamina to outrun a rabbit.
They are harder to take down than an elk or rabbit, and have good stamina and health. They are usually alone, making it slightly easier to hunt them. But they still are one of the hardest catches.
Bears are not prey, they are enemies. They often eat wolf pups if they can find them, so they are very, very dangerous. They are three times bigger than an average wolf, and 3 times stronger also. No wolf can kill a bear, so dont try.
Foxes arnt as bad as bears, but they still want to eat pups. They are smaller than a wolf, and not much of a threat in battle. But they can still cause lots of damage. Do not eat foxes, its considered cannibalism, since wolves are so closely related to them.
