December 31, 2020: Happy New Year!
Starting: November 18, 2020
Deadline: January 30th, 2021!
"Writing is just painting with words." - Cherie Roe Dirksen
Welcome to the writing, art, AND character contest! You will have the choice to draw a character or any type of art or write a story! I know that some of the people I invite have already made way too much art for my contests, you can relax and write now!!
You must choose 1 theme/prompt for art or writing. You may also choose to draw and write, then you have a chance to win both.

Art Themes
Holiday: Draw art that describes Thanksgiving or Christmas! If you are drawing a character, it could be wearing Christmas clothes or eating a turkey!
Season: It is autumn, almost winter for me right now! Draw a character wearing a scarf with the colors red, yellow, brown, and orange, or blue, white, and grey! Or draw art that bases around the seasons autumn and winter!
Style: Draw something cranky, wacky, or weird! Your character can be dancing, singing, or anything else that is crazy!!!
People: Is there someone that you love or enjoy hanging out with? Draw that person, or draw art dedicated to that person!
Free choice: Only if you really don't think you can make art with a theme. If you work really hard on this free choice one, it's fine to choose this!

Writing Prompts
Narrative: There is a door at the end of the hallway that is always locked. One day you come across it and realize that it is unlocked. You slowly open the door. What is inside?
Nonfiction: Write a story about a current events news either inside or outside of Scratch. (Example: Coronavirus)
Opinion: If you had the choice to earn 20 followers every week or get featured every year, which would you choose, or would you choose none?
Free choice: Only if you really don't want to write a prompt. If you work really hard on this free choice one, it's fine to choose this!

Writing Info: To enter your story, make a project and use the text tool, type a long comment, or write it in a description of a studio! I can then read it from there.
Art Info: Draw either on paper or digitally, and make a project with your art in it! If you draw with paper, take a picture or scan it. If the art is done digitally, download it and upload! If you used Scratch Vector, then you won't have to do anything, just share!
