Judges CAN enter the contest but they cannot judge their own project.
*NOTE*: The judges are different in each round.
You can apply to be a judge more than once.
Each project will be rated from 0 to 100 stars (⭐) based on:
-creativity
-playability (If it is a game)
-graphics
-details
-quality
-code
5 bonus ⭐ if your project gets across a helpful message (Save the earth, Black Lives Matter, etc.).
5 bonus ⭐ if your project uses at least one extension.
5 bonus ⭐ if your project is original (not a remix)
5 bonus ⭐ if your project uses only Scratch's sprites, backdrops, and sounds (no uploading, however if you create your own sprites/backdrops/sounds using Scratch, you will get the bonus points.
In this round, the 90% of people with the highest scores will move on to the next round, and the 10% of people with the lowest scores will not.
The way we will determine the winner is that I will add up all of judges' scores for one project, then divide that by the number of judges. After, I will add any bonus ⭐ to the score.
*URGENT*: We need more prize givers! The more prize givers we have, the bigger a prize the winners get.
Prize Givers:
1. @ScratchCoderTosia (me)
2. @POS_tutor_
3. @Mermaidninja
There is no limit to the number of prize givers. If you want to be one just ask in the comment section.
*NOTE* In the first round, the prize won't be so big, but in each next round it will get bigger.
The prize givers stay the same for each round, however you can still
join in the next rounds.
*NOTE*: You can be a prize giver AND a judge in the same round
Don't worry if you lose in the first round. You can still get another chance. In the comments, put a link to your project and specify that you lost in the first round. Me and 2 other random judges will review the project and if you get an average of more than 65 points, you're in to compete in the second round! :)
I might make this option available for the third round too, but then the minimum average will be higher.
Current Submissions: 8

I am really busy. However, I should respond within 24 hours.
