surprisingly, donuts were made for World War 1 soldiers off to sea. They became so popular they even had they're own slogan for donuts; "donuts will win the war!" Today, donuts are still a crowd pleaser! Proof shows that 60% of people in The United States of America still eat donuts today! I know that was a kinda boring essay about donuts lol
