Here I'm getting too excited. This is the beginning of my story. I don't know what I'm even doing anymore. Also if you want more spoilers, stick around. I'll get so impatient I'll probably post all of Chapter One, too.
All managers, invite your curators. But I am very sensitive about my writing. Please, please, PLEASE don't edit it.
“Those people over at Afton Robotics sure do know what they’re making,” grumbled a man, studying what seemed to be a bear animatronic, but very well could be mistaken as an orange pig with rounded ears that stood straight up on its head.
“They’re also pros,” corrected another man, at least ten years younger than the first.
The first aimed a kick at the bear, but oddly, the robot seemed to jerk away. “So? Anyone can be a pro,” he snorted. “But this heap of gears won’t even creak for me!”
“Gill, don’t take your anger out on Neon. He’s harmless,” the other scolded.
“He?” the first, Gill, cried. “So they have names now? And personalities?”
“I didn’t say anything about personalities.”
“But you called it Neon, Jay, a name,” Gill said firmly, starting to pace the small workspace.
Jay stood up from his chair and traced a finger along the bear’s arm. “We need to name him something,” he murmured. “But I don’t understand. We stole the blueprints right off the desk. It isn’t like any of Afton’s creations to not work.”
He stopped and looked up into the bear’s cold blue gaze.
“There’s something more, isn’t there? Something much, much more.”
