Snowflake are drifting lazily past you in the dark void of your otherwise empty dream. When you wake up, snow covers your classroom.
This is the first dream all dream thieves have. Places may vairy.
Dream Thieves pull or "steal" objects from dreams, bringing them into the waking world. No matter the size, shape, or magical powers of the object(s).
All dream thieves of proper age go to the Dreamers High School, where they learn to better control their powers as well as all normal school subjects.
And, lucky you, the school year is just starting. Let's see how your first few days go...
