This is a universe, a place where hybrids exist and can be quite rare! Let me explain to you this whole thing. You are born as either a human or as a hybrid. If you are a hybrid you have things that animal may have. If you are a dog hybrid, you have ears, a tail, enhanced smelling, hearing, etc. Same with any hybrid. Scientists have created p1lls that change your child into a human, you make the child take these for at least 1 year, once everyday, and they will soon become a human. They are dangerous and meant for kids at the age of 5-11. Of course, that's never stopped anyone. The owners (parents) of hybrids can sell them, earn millions of money from letting doctors and scientists test on your hybrid. Nothing is illegal because no one cares for these "animals.". They're known as a disgrace to human kind. 75% of people believe that hybrids are simply tools and horrible. While 25% of people believe they deserve to be treated equally. It makes the world worse.
Hybrids can also switch into dog form (or whatever their breed is), some people can just say the name of their breed (dog, dragon, etc.), and the hybrid will switch, sometimes they can’t even switch back. But the word must be used with a certain context that is chosen by the owner (parent).
Example: Cute dog, weird dragon, etc.
