#Stgp stands for Stop the generic platformers. Basically people are hating and spamming on peoples platformers, because they think it is generic.
Take the project Generic Platformers, as a bad example.

But before stgp was used to encourage people to be unique and not make generic platformers. But people soon got jealous and used stgp for hate and a tool to push others down for their own benefit I know sometimes platformers that didn't take much effort get lots of attention, but it is never right to spam or hate! Lots of Famous scratchers, are tagging StGP, which people are not taking nicely due to people thinking they are hating on people. People need to see, that spamming, and hating, or just tagging STGP is advocating for good and bad stgp, and bad is a lot more visible.
When you hate on beginner platformer makers, all that happens, is they get demotivated, and therefore worse!
