A girl lives with only her mother in a small cottage on the outskirts of the forest. Every day is completely normal for her, the same routine every day, and she's fine with that, she doesn't want anything more, but it isn't her choice. She returns to the cottage after a trip to the town, only to find that her cottage has been destroyed to only a crumble of bricks, and her mother is nowhere to be found. All that is left is a green jay's feather, that mysteriously seems untouched, although it is buried by bricks. Now, she must set off on a long journey through the wilderness, to find what happened to her house and mother, and what this feather is, and how it is not ruined.
Perhaps at the start, she could be walking through the town, and in the background there would be a voice that said 'I was just a simple girl, with a simple life, I lived in a cottage near the woods, and I had never wanted to leave it.' and then the the scene will change to when she finds her crumbled home 'But the fates were not in my favor, and when my house crumbled down, with my mother missing, I knew I had to do something.' the scene changes to her picking the feather up 'And when I found the feather, so perfect and delicate, buried under bricks, yet completely undamaged, I knew something was wrong." then the scene changes to where she holds the bird feather, about to enter the forest 'And so I set off on a journey' she steps in 'I had to leave my home. I had to find my mother, the only one who truly knew me. I had to discover the secrets of the feather.' she walks on a dirt path into the forest, setting out on her journey. [insert super adventurous music here] (Added by Maya: And we'll have all that "coming soon" stuff too!)
