QOTW: What is your dream rat cage?
Yes. This is a studio for rats and why we should NOT kill them.
Unfortunately, there are some places that wild rats are actually such a huge pest that whole species of animals have gone extinct because of them. This is the ONLY case in which we should kill rats! And if we have to, we must kill them in a quick and painless way!
Rats are one of the most misunderstood creatures on earth. Just because wild rats eat leftover food and sometimes live in dumps, this does not mean they are horrible. In their natural habitat they would have plenty of food and would not have to eat from dumps. However, since humans have destroyed so much and turned so much land into cities, the rats have barely any real food to eat. They were forced to scavenge for leftover food. If all our food and homes were taken, and we were all starving, we would probably eat from dumps to save ourselves. That is what the poor rats are going through!
Then there are pet rats, sweet, loving rodents domesticated for centuries. They come in loads of different colors, and each have their own personalities.
