I know I put the rules in the template but I'm gonna put em here in case you didn't see em. I know the entire description is lengthy but it contains some useful info so please read it.
-No canon characters.
-Do not make your character immortal. I know it seems obvious but some people do it. Your character has to have at least ONE weakness.
-Please for the love of god do not make your character a boss unless they are infected.
-Please try to follow the lore of the game(s)
-Yes, you are allowed to have all of the spells from the game before entering. (This includes the dreamnail)
-The limit for charms that you can enter with is 5 (You can pick up others later but you have to enter with 5 at maximum)
Infection Status: Growth Halted. Reason: Xanthe has taken the previous vessel's place.
This is set in a time period AFTER the events of Hollow Knight but the infection has returned and a few vessels have been sent from the abyss. The infection is staying below Dirtmouth but those who venture to other areas may want to be careful.
The areas are as follows
-Dirtmouth. The fading town.
This serves as the "safe area" in this rp. The infection cannot spread here.
A long forgotten network of tunnels leading to multiple areas that has been completely taken over by infection. It's directly below Dirtmouth.
An area covered ceiling to floor with dense foliage with some acid lakes scattered around the area. Those with Isma's Tear can freely swim in the acid.
A desolate area that poses no threat. There is nothing here. It's not worth exploring.
A strange area full of glimmering gemstones. One must be careful though, for they are sharp.
A sacred place where the dead are laid to rest. To use a Dreamnail here is to ask for death.
A strange part of Greenpath full of floating, gelatinous creatures. The larger ones explode. I recommend avoiding them.
A distant part of Greenpath overgrown with mushrooms. Not the most pleasant of places but there are a few charms here if I recall.
Yet another part of Greenpath. This one is not that different from Greenpath itself, excluding the White lady. Of whom resides here.
A dangerous area. Many have died here. I recommend avoiding this place.
-City of Tears
A long abandoned city where water leaks from the lake above.
A series of pipes and support systems underneath the City of Tears. A large Fluke nest resides here.
The name is self-explanatory. The Colosseum of fools resides at the edge.
Simply put, a beehive.
The king once resided here. However, he died. No one knows how, just that he was found dead in his throne.
A place where many vessels similar to the Hollow Knight were found. Their shells cracked and their eyes lifeless. The place reeks of death.
Not much is known about this strange area. It's all just rock and an endless void. The King previously forbade any from venturing here.
Here's a list of groups that you can be in related to social status.
Citizens of Hallownest
This includes some of the more 'normal' bugs. As in, not infected and not a vessel, failed or not.
You simply just have to have the infected status, you are to bring the destruction of Hallownest and it's rebirth under the rule of Radiance. Generally you are chaotic evil but I will allow some of you to be good as an attempt to 'redeem' yourself.
Simply put, you are mantis. You feel that you are above the average citizens of Hallownest and therefore separate yourself from them. That or you were raised by the mantises.
Adept dreamers and mages, the moths were created as an image of the Radiance.
You live off of honey under the queen's influence, despite the fact that she has now been infected. (That's one role that I will not allow anyone to take) You're main home remains the hive. You may select to be a rebellious bee and ignore your hivemind instincts to free your siblings in binds.
These are vessels that are not truly hollow and can speak above a few words in a sentence. Usually you will have the same cloak as a vessel but at least have one eyelight. A Failed Vessel can become a True Vessel if they regain their full memories of their time in the abyss through the same vision that the Hollow Knight saw in their journey through Hallownest. They may also feel drawn to the area where this happens if they wander close enough.
You have no mind to think... no will to break... and no voice to cry out in suffering... You are a suitable vessel to replace the previous hollow knight and that is your only purpose. You remember everything from your time in the abyss and have obtained the void heart as a result
