The old, blue dragon sat on the edge of the beach, gazing out onto the water. "I see you over there, you know." He laughed heartily, trailing a talon through the still surface as nervous dragonet talons scrambled with a nod. "They've sent another one of you curious dragonets, haven't they? Really, they should all learn about it themselves, but I'm happy to talk to whoever wants to hear... Why I look so different, why your scrolls tell of tribes unseen, who they are. They my friend, are your ancestors, your mixed lines."

Taking place over three thousand years since the sandwing succession, the majority of the Pyyriahn tribes you know and love are now three new tribes, due to years of cross-breeding. The last of the old tribes are dying out, respected as elders within their kingdoms, they either resent the change, or live their days teaching new dragons about their past, so it may never be forgotten...

Ages are as in the Wings of Fire book series. Approximately;
1-3 kids. 4-8 is teen. 8-9 older teen 10+ is adult.

■THE TRIBES■
■AQUANIWINGS■
These dragons are clearly descended from seawings, with their webbed claws, tail fins and gills. They have long, graceful bodies, with strong tails and wings for swimming.
Though most tend to stay in the water, many enjoy coming on land, and can even hang from a tree with their tail fairly easily with practice. Aquaniwings come in a wide array of colors, the most common being Blues, Greens, and Yellows.
■CAVEWINGS■
Cavewings are colored dragons that live in caves. Every Cavewing is unique. They all look like different types of ores. They descended from rainwings but they don’t change colors and don’t have magical death spit. They sleep in hammock hung from Stalactites. Cavewings have spots of coloration under and above there eyes and there wing flaps as well. They also are covered with spots that match the color of the ore they look like. They have long claws and crystal shaped spikes along their backs.
■MOUNTAINWINGS■
Mountainwings are hardy and strong, but lightweight dragons. With wide lung and wingspan, and ridgid, serrated talons, they are well equipped for life in the highest mountains. Their long curvy horns contain growth rings, like that of a tree or a mountain goat. Colors most often range from light whites and blues to richer reds and browns.
■ICEWINGS■
A small group of full-blood Icewings remain, having split in 2000 A.J.M. (After Jade Mount. Academy) when the current Queen Flurry fell in love with a Sandwing, her cousin took the place as queen over this group of icewings.
(Much smaller quantity than other tribes due to being a secluded group. Limit for now, will be lifted after we have the other tribes better filled)
