PROLOGUE:
"Sweat and tears,
kits and fears,
you are an unwanted,
my dear
the end is near
though the sky is clear,

go by and go by, the years
and still, overlooked by your peers
you are an unwanted,
my dear
their sneers
are like spears,
you are an unwanted,
my dear
but now the blood has smeared,
they'll regret they ever came near,
because you are an unwanted,
my dear," the gray she-cat recited quietly, her pelt glistening in the
moonlight as she sat at the mouth of the cave, her head down.
A black she-cat, her eyes blazing emeralds, paced in front of her. She was shaking, her jaw clenched and her eyes narrowed. "Sister, what does this mean? She just... just spoke a voice that seemed to not to even be hers, and she simply... collapsed!" The gray cat sighed, "Only the stars know what's going on, Ravenflight, only the stars know..."
The cat named Ravenflight growled, "That isn't good enough, Moonshine!" Moonshine looked her directly in her angry, green eyes.
"I don't believe you want to know
what's going on. Trust me." Ravenflight returned her look with a glare, "Oh, please! I WANT to know what's going on with my..." she paused, "kit," she said with disgust. Moonshine frowned at her tone. "Very well. I think your helpless, little daughter isn't so helpless after all, and I believe she has quite the... let's say, uh, path, ahead of her." Ravenflight growled again. "Spit it out, you USELESS FURBALL!" she hissed. Moonshine stood up. "I think we're done here," she said solemnly, and began to walk away, not looking back, not even once.
