The LNPU (Leave No Project Unloved) is a Scratch committee founded by @ProdigyZeta7 on the basis of spreading unbound generosity across Scratch.
Our ultimate goal is to reduce the gap of love-its between popular and unpopular Scratchers, and at the same time raise the average number of love-its per project.
My guiding philosophy is simple: use the power of the love-it button to its fullest. Kinda like carpe diem. Don't worry if a project already has a kajillion love-its, because as far as we're concerned your individual goal is to love as many projects as possible. The more love-its you give, the more successful we are of creating an equally-loved community.
There are a plethora of methods to quickly get to projects:
1. Show and Tell forum
2. Meeting and greeting New Scratchers
3. The Recently Shared section has lots of projects coming in.
4. Use the Explore tab.
5. "Chain-profiling" - clicking on the link of a follower on a user's profile which leads to that person's profile; rinse and repeat.
If you feel a project deserves more recognition than a single love-it can provide, you are more than welcome to add it here. However, if it has a reasonable number of love-its, it should be taken out..
If a project breaks the Community Guidelines or otherwise goes against your code of ethics, appropriate provisions may be enacted.
Major MAJOR Note: Some Scratchers are concerned that the overuse of the love-it button causes a decrement of its merit. There is some validity to this, such as loving a project for no reason can have an adverse affect on the receiver (the feeling that he/she didn't actually deserve the love-it(s)). They believe that the sparing use of the love-it button will make it that much more valuable.
One such argument against this is that the motives behind the full use of the love-it button may be based upon generosity, sincerity, or other mutual purposes. If, for example, a Scratcher is sympathetic towards another who lacks the love-its he or she deserves, the affection given by bestowing a love-it upon each project may enlighten that Scratcher and by some degree encourage him or her to participate on Scratch more often.
The "conservative" side favors the sparing use of love-its for the sake of retaining its value, while the "liberal" side favors using love-its to the fullest extent for emphasizing generosity and compassion.
