You walk slowly out of the bus as you follow the other kids to a dark clearing in the middle of the woods. An old man stares at you, he seems to be trying to tell you something through his piercing gaze. Tents are scattered around the area and litter is covered by the soft dirt under your feet. You gasp in surprise as you here a low voice call out to you,

“Welcome to Camp Calamity!”

A rather short boy stands in front of you, his black hair looks like it hadn’t been combed in years. His eyes a soft blue, the only thing seen under his hood. He holds his hand out to you, and you shake it hesitantly. It takes you a moment to realize he’s an assistant at this camp. But, you can’t help but realize how strange the camp seems.

After settling down, you sit by the warm fire, roasting a marshmallow. The frost on the grass makes you shiver as you realize you’re the only one awake. You jump slightly when you see something passing by. It seems as though you’re being watched. But by what?

Well, let me tell you, here at Camp Calamity, it’s not ordinary. Maybe you shouldn’t call it Camp Calamity..a more fitting name would be..
