The newborn Tribe has changed so much in the twelve moons since Jay’s Wing’s last appearance. But some sorrows never leave. Stoneteller, for one, is still distraught over his second disappearance, and the mysterious words he left her with. And what’s more, Dove’s Wing, her closest friend and confidante after he left, has become distant and absorbed solely in her mate, Fish Leap. Even Lion’s Roar, another good friend, grown now, is becoming more involved in his duties as a sharpclaw, and less friendly with her. She’s determined, still, to find out where Jay’s Wing went. So when another cat begins to show the same signs he showed when he first emerged from the tunnels, back at the lake – amnesia, reluctance, and strange predictions of the future - Stoneteller sees a possible way to discover Jay’s Wing’s whereabouts. It’s been three moons since the Dark Forest was defeated, and Ivypool is happy. When she’s not hunting and fighting for her Clan, she’s cooing over Dovewing and Bumblestripe’s adorable kits, teaching herself to swim, helping Briarlight and Jayfeather find herbs, or spending time with her almost-mate, Foxleap. But a weird cat has been appearing in her dreams, telling her it’s not over. She asks Jayfeather about it, but he acts guarded and scared. When something gets really weird and she finds herself somewhere she feels she shouldn’t be, Ivypool wishes she had spoken with Jayfeather more. Because all her friends are gone, nobody seems to have ever seen a Clan, and, to make matters even worse, they’re not even calling her by her name. Apparently, to them she is…
