Your teacher or student is down here:
Teacher & Student groups:
This is where students (that have remixed the base and are official students or teachers of the AA) begin the Art Academy: Semester #1! We hope you enjoy this time in our art journey! THE SEMESTER WILL BE AT LEAST 8 OR 10 TUTORIALS LONG FOR EACH STUDENT. STUDENTS, CHECK THE LIST WHERE I MATCHED TEACHERS UP WITH STUDENTS AND LET YOUR TEACHER KNOW THAT YOU ARE READY FOR THE FIRST TUTORIAL!
STUDENT WAITING LIST:
OTHERS BESIDES THE STUDENTS ON THE LIST HAVE TO WAIT IN ORDER TO GET A TEACHER. TEACHERS, IF YOU WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER STUDENT, LET ME KNOW!
A NOTE TO TEACHERS AND STUDENTS: (Read all of it, guys!)
Teachers, I know that you are like 'REALLY, I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS!!' That's totally alright. Just listen to me.
First, start out by looking at your student's art samples that she/he posted on his/her sign-up sheet. There, you will get a good idea of what your student enjoys drawing.
Start a project tutorial on how to draw something! Explain the technique slowly and clearly. If your student has any questions, be ready to answer them. If there is something that you do not have an answer for, look it up on google! :P
You should be ready to start a series of tutorials related to shading, shaping the realistic human body, and other cool techniques. Be sure that your student understands what you are explaining to them! Also, know what you are talking about. That is basically all that you can do in Semester #1.
Students, please ask a lot of questions! Don't just walk off if there is something you don't understand and you are not willing to ask. Don't think that you are stupid to ask some of these questions. Just have fun and relax!
Also, if you are longing for a break from all these tutorials, just take a break and do a coloring contest! (I'll be the judge) I, emeco, will post some coloring contests that you can remix during Semester #1.
Be sure you understand techniques, and again, have fun!!
Anyone who reads all of the above, say 'Frozen pizza.' :)
