This is a studio for all lettering and calligraphy projects and enthusiasts! Add your lettering/calligraphy projects here. However, please don't add anything else :)
~•~ Rules ~•~
The rules to this studio are very simple! Be kind to everyone, don't spam, and only add relevant projects. If you want to curate, scroll down to curation requirements! :)
Relevant projects include:
> Calligraphy/lettering art dumps
> Calligraphy/lettering programs
> Calligraphy/lettering tutorials
Irrelevant projects include:
> Text generators
> Non-calligraphic art
~•~ Curation Requirements ~•~
In order to curate, you must...
> Like calligraphy/lettering
> Leave a link to a relevant project that is not already in the studio (If you can't find any, just say so and I'll probably still let you in!)
> Ask politely in the comments! ;)
That's all! If you want to be promoted to manager, be active and diligent. You also must already be a curator. I won't promote curators on request, but if I feel you should be promoted, I'll ask you if you'd like to be and you will be promoted accordingly.
Fun fact: there is a difference between calligraphy and lettering! Calligraphy is the perfection of penmanship, while lettering is the art of drawing letters. While calligraphy and lettering are similar, calligraphy focuses more on each letter, while lettering focuses on the final image. Calligraphy also tends to follow specific alphabets, while lettering tends to have more freedom with the shaping of the letters. Calligraphy was very popular in the 'olden days' and isn't very popular now, but lettering is still very widespread.

In exploring these projects, you may come across some unfamiliar terms, such as 'nib' and 'fountain pen'. A fountain pen is the tool used to make calligraphy. It is shaped rather like a Harry Potter wand. There are two main kinds: those that are dipped into ink and those that have ink cartridges. The nib is the tip of the fountain pen, and it is often interchangeable. To get a visual, look it up online!

Thumbnail was drawn by myself (the owner) using a fountain pen and turned into vector with Inkscape. :)
