----Please Read This----
I would really appreciate it as I am really trying to spread the message so please when you have time read this-
This is a big problem as cats if let out at night destroy wildlife.
Now I want to say, that I love cats, and I think their beautiful creatures. They come in a range of different coat colours, fur textures, and their just nice to see out and about.
But if let out at night, cats can do A LOT of damage to wildlife.I love seeing cats out and about but at night I honestly think cats should truly stay inside.
On the other hand, your cat could go missing and if not desexed could have too many kittens.Or even worse be seriously injured or even in some cases killed on the roads or even another cat if your cat got into a huge fight.
There are other ways to let your cat enjoy the night life and let there nature and spirit run free safely without causing damage to any other wildlife or getting into the troubles mentioned above.
Simple Things You Can Do To Take Action Are:
1. Let your cat run around INSIDE the house at night. TIP: 3:00am is the best time for your cat to play as they are most active then. But if not 3;00am any other nightly hour will do.
2. Go outside into the backyard and play with your cat out there at night.TIP make sure your backyard is fenced properly so your cat can't get out while your not looking.
3. Bells. This simple rule applys day and night. Make sure a small bell is on your cat at all times as this is a warning to birds to fly away and cannot be caught.
4.If you do happen to come across a stray kitten or cat, if you can give it a home and take it in. OR if you cannot do that, bring it to the RSPCA or another local animal shelter in your area.
If you do happen to bring in a stray cat please be carefully, as they can scratch, and may be infected so please as this is extremely important, to get the stray cat checked by a professional vet, trained, and CLOSELY watched for any aggressive behavior. If it does summon ANY aggressive behaviour please take it to the vet.
SCRATCHED BY A CAT:
If you have happened to be near a cat especially a stray that you have taken in,and you have been SCRATCHED, and its BLEEDING, seek medical advice IMMEDIATELY as the cat could be infected with rabies,so seek out a doctor quickly or go to emergency.PLEASE REMEMBER THESE ARE WILD CATS AND MAY BE UNPREDICTABLE.
If you have any more simple tips like these, please post them in the comments.
Thank you so much for reading this, as it means so much to me about spreading this message to where ever I can so thank you again as I really appreciate it.
