NOT ALL FNAF IS BANNED!
IF YOU ARE STILL SHARING SCARY PROJECTS THEN YOU HAVEN'T READ EVERTHING!
PLEASE DONT FLAME IN THE COMMENTS! (calm down and back up your points with evidence).
Note - I rather like FNaF but I know where it stands
Five Nights at Freddy's is a game not suitable for scratch. However it is not banned as there are some nice projects where there are none of the bits that FNaF is usually reported for. If a FNaF project is scary or violent, report it as it should not be on scratch and the scratch team will make a judgement of it is too scary/violent. Same goes for edited GTA and many other games. The best solution is to read all the rules at the bottom of every page in the scratch website including this one. If you don't believe me, read this: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/168506/
The reason these are banned is because scratch should be supported by schools (in some it is a blocked website because of FNaF). Also, there are tons of complaints of children getting nightmares.

If you want to make scary FNaF, just use another platform like gamesalad. Scratch was designed for kids to learn to code. Don't do it on scratch because FNaF is making scratch a less kid-friendly place!
==== Quotes =============
FNaF is getting ridiculous. Everywhere I go, I see FNaF. Seriously? It's also scary for younger kids and this is meant to be a programming website, not a messed up horror game site. If you're going to make scary FNaF projects, they will most likely be taken down. ~ @D_i_a_v_l_o
