(Tera's POV (Point of View))
I can see it, as I have seen so many times in my visions. Those large iron door's leading to the throne room of the enemy leader. The same broken piles of vases, burning tapestries, corpses that lay behind me.
I turn around to the men who are under my command. All are finally receiving the liberation that we have fought for, for so many moons now. With Karma's dead body under the heel of my heavy iron boot, 'This is it men,' I say, these words that have been grafted into my mind every time I dream, 'For too long you- no! May I correct myself, WE have suffered under the reign of tyranny for too long!'
A roar of empowered applause comes from the audience, and then a sinking feeling forms in my stomach as I say, 'Together. We have achieved freedom, and broken through the bonds of fate...' I move my hand to my half mask, which has hidden me from the world, and the voice in my head whispers, *Its time to be you, and not both of you. Later it will turn from the three of us, to, just I. But now, stop hiding.*
'You deserve to see who you have been trusting to guide you to this point,' my hand lifts the mask off, and a gasp comes from the crowd. My fragile looking face must have shocked them. Yeah. Like that was something new, 'You didn't know that I was still human. Just a living version of a legend, my ancestor, Romane. Yes, my methods are not the same as his... But soon, like his. My life will end as a singular being.'
My foot moves towards them and I continue, 'I knew this, and I thought that if you all knew you would force me into revealing the location of the stone. Then force me to take up the stone, and separate the mortal, from the immortal, and to merge the governed, and the governing. But I was wrong. You all are fighting for the same thing that I, as a person, will continue to fight for during the rest of my short life; to defy fate. And that, my brothers, and sisters in arms, we have achieved today.'
I close my eyes, expecting to hear a sea of boos, of them calling me a liar, but I am shocked and pleased at the result. A roar of shouts to my defense. They call me a legend. A hero at the end of their myth. An Immortal; that would crack me up. Because an immortal is the last thing I want to be.
One of the brutes who has followed me places a hand on my shoulder, 'To think,' he laughs, 'I never imagined a legendary Hero's face would look so pale,' he laughs more, 'Now. Go in there, and finish this war for all of our sakes. We have come to far to turn back.'
'Thank you,' I say before walking to the door, feeling my fists grip the intricate iron handles, expecting to wake up from this trance. Oh no, this is all to real to find myself back at the start again. Plus, seeing a future like this would be no fun.
The words form my guide ring through my head as the doors swing open, only letting me enter,
*Its time. To start a new World!*
Then there is a flash of light, before total darkness.
--3 years later--
(Int. Human Realm, 2078, October 27th)
I watch the boy with fierce golden eyes, and jet black hair. He is a senior, and transferred to this school three years ago. One would think he had fought a war because of his strong build, with scars lacing his arms. Of course that couldn't be because he is only 18 or something. I think.
Suddenly he looks over at me and asks, 'What are you staring at?' this boy. Most of the girls swoon over him, I mean. He IS the captain of the school's tennis team *Even though that isn't an exactly normal sport for girls to swoon over guys playing* so he seriously has a nice build.
He takes a step towards me, and his papers shift from his arms, 'Seriously. Do I have something on me or something?' I back up away from him and the lockers, towards the large glass pained windows behind my head, 'No!' I snap at him, 'And if there was why would I tell you?!' Sure, you have figured out by now. I am not the nicest of people, but you can't blame me! All of that attention must have gotten to his head! Because even though it doesn't look like it, he must be so vain.
Suddenly a shadow starts to descend upon me, and he yells, 'Duck!' before tackling me down to the ground, rolling off of me, and then shielding me from flying shards of glass.
I look at his panting body, and see two large wings extended from his back. Bat wings, but closer to a dragon's in texture. A figure that has stunning white wings, torn from crashing through the window, demands, 'Why are you here! Everyone thinks you're dead! Does that mean the final battle has not come to pass!'
The boy laughs slightly, his eyes have turned more metallic than yellow, and where the shards hit him there is a golden liquid streaming from his veins instead of blood. He laugh comes out, 'No. This has just begun.'
Okay. My usual plot ideas applies to this with the school, and then the paranormal activity and yada yada yada.
So Ill just make this short. The Emerald Army won the war, and reformed the demon realm as a communist society (Not totalitarian Communism, PURE Socialism. Where it benefits everyone. And no one person suffers alone. To learn about the difference between pure and totalitarian Communism, read Animal Farm.) where the Governed and Governing Support each other.
Immediately after the war, Tera disappeared; so no one who was outside of Raregonare's throne room at the time actually SAW the final battle.
All that mattered was that Lynette/Nova was found dead. Meaning they had won.
Now the story shifts focus to the Human Realm, or in other words, a parallel version of our Earth, slightly in the future (So as to not clash with real events due to this being a fictional story.) There is a large public high-school in a city in Boston Massachusetts, because NYC is WAY to clichè. Three years after the revolution.
Slightly before the story there were quite a few attacks. All of which the victim was found badly injured with bite, and claw marks on them.
Then there is the element from the original series where there are adolescents finding stones that give them powers.
I am hoping this will capture the aura of the first rpg that really cant be described. But its fine.
-THIS WILL PROBABLY NOT END UP BEING IN THE BOOK SERIES-
The age range for playable charecters is 4-28 (Though cannon charecters have to be 13-25). The age range is so small because this is supposed to focus on youth, coming of age, innocence, and in a way, the loss of innocence. The only exceptions to the age range rules are parents, teachers, grandparents, and possibly younger siblings. Having a grandparent or a parent present is higly urged for RPers.
Unlike in the other books this takes place in a public school in America. Meaning its not in France, or Japan like many of the other books were (Though the mini RPing session last winter where everyone was in the Bermuda triangle was off the chain! Footie Pjamas ftw! (Long story.))
The Stones are:
Regal (Basically Shape-shifting)
Death (New) (Not the ability to constantly kill, but gives you a few of the common abilities and flaws of the stereotypical undead)
--DO NOT ASK TO CREATE NEW STONES! THAT IS THE MODERATORS AND MY JOB. AND PROBABLY THIS IS THE MOST STONES THERE WILL BE!--
NO GOD MODDING
DO NOT BE A SUE
Fighter: Usually human in species, but they have a stone that gives them a power. The powers that are non-elemental are the most common, and fighters with elemental powers are increasingly less common. Psychic stones CANNOT see the future. There are a few types of fighters: Free-lance, Groupbound, undiscovered, loners, and rouges. The only one that needs to be explained is freelance. Its like a rouge or a loner, but will temporarily align itself with others; at times as an assassin, at other times working towards a common goal.
Demons: Not those horned, pointy tailed things from Christian religion. They are much more humanoid, and not based on any religion. Here are a few of the common characteristics that demons have:
-Eyes that shift between red, silver, and human colors
-Usually having either wings, goat/ram horns, or ears and a tail (Either cat, or dog usually)
-Like a vampire, drinks blood
-Like a zombie, its DNA can infect humans, making them like them.
-3 forms Normal form (Closets to human, most human emotions), Half form (Half way between human and demons, remembers only the important things from being in full form, and can switch to speaking the forgotten language of demons), and full form (A primal, instinctual form. Anything that isn't a demon, even a human ally, is conisidered as prey. Their irises are blood red. You can only feel pleasure in this form, and it grows with the taste of blood, and with killing others)
Angels: Mind-Controlled weirdos with white/black wings. They live under a facist government and can decide nothing for themselves. Their venom works like a demons blood, and they have fangs.
Anthroms: Almost exactly like a human, but a different species. They have slightly pointed ears, have stronger digestive systems, and can adapt to literally anything at light speed. They can even take a bullet as if it was nothing. They also have one additional power.
Knockers: (To be released)
Immortals: (To be released (MODS ONLY)
Humans: Your normal humans. A few know, and a few are psychics.
Blood Births (Sub-Species): Born of 2+ peoples blood, they are completely made out of blood. They are technically immortal, unless they are in love, or are facing someone from the future. They don't get hurt easily, and their body can turn to blood as a defense mechanism. Typically they are skilled with fire-power weapons.
