A story prompt is an idea to be used in the creation of a usually short story*.
Use the commenting area to leave story prompts. Anyone can write one. You can use one that you saw elsewhere, just state that it is not yours.
If you find a story prompt you like in the comments, simply tell the original writer of your interest in their prompt, screenshot** the prompt, and write the story in a Scratch project (use vector so you can go back and edit). Add the project to the studio.
Alternately, you could write the story on another site but put a picture of the comment in the story and/or a link back to this studio.
-No inappropriate prompts
-Nothing sexist, racist, homophobic, or otherwise hurtful to any group
-No stealing anyone's prompt and passing it off as your own
-No restricting people from using your prompt
-Fanfiction prompts are allowed, but must be usable by all/most fandoms. 'West!AU in which your OTP are a saloon owner and a British doctor' is acceptable, but 'Albus Potter is sorted into Slytherin' is not, because that is fandom-specific. You must specify whether a prompt is for fanfiction.
-You may add stories written with prompts you did not find here, but you must put the prompt in the project- a retyped version is okay, although the original would be better.
-You may only add prompted-story projects. That's it.
-You must provide the prompt author with your story and credit them with the prompt.
-Anyone may curate, but you must post a story to manage.
-You don't have to be a member to respond to prompts, but you must be to post them.
Okay, that's it. Write on!
