A few more spots open for Chapter 1! We need Spider and the background noises! Sign up now!
So I am making a book called The Adventures of Web, and I was thinking I could make it into a animation! So I will put chapters down here so you can read them and then try out for parts! You can also make ads (one sprite please and 10 secs or less!) that will get on the little shows! Also I'm Web for the animations.
I woke up to the little house of hay blocks, the only home I’d ever known. I was the runt, so my brothers and sisters, Sparrow, Spider, Mouse and Robin teased me.
Today I woke up to them squabbling over the mouse tail mom brought us. I had realised the mouse and the mouse tail came from the light. Oh, how badly I wanted to see the light. Our mom said she’d bring us there one day.
So many sounds come from the light! Humming and buzzing, whistles and chirps, squeaks and hisses, I want to see what made every one! I NEED to get to the light! But I can’t. Mom won’t let us. It’s my life, but I can’t go there. I need to, but I can’t. It’s driving me crazy. So I guess I’ll play with my siblings.
I walk in to the fight cause’ I want the mouse tail. Immediately Spider bowls me over.
“Get off me!” I say but he ignores me.
“Hey, let’s get Web!” He says to our siblings.
“Ya!” Mouse screeches. They all pile on top of me and I feel like I’m gonna break.
“Nooo, stoooop,’’ I moan.
“Hey, little Webby want us to stop! I don’t think we can!” Spider laughs, and starts trying to scratch me. Mom comes just in time.
“GET OFF OF WEB” she screeches. They reluctantly follow her orders. I am gasping for breath. They don’t get to sleep with mom tonight!“Web,” was the very first thing I heard in the morning as Mom was stroking me with her tail, “I’m gonna show you the light today.”
I jumped to my feet while Mom woke up my siblings. I pranced around the den happily. I’ll get to meet Mika and Stitch, the other farm cats! And I’ll get to meet my dad, Wheat! I love today! I pranced right behind Mom as we went to the light, that Mom sometimes called ‘outside’. I blinked a few times. I was in a new world. There was so much color! Reds, browns, greens, blues, and colors I don’t even know! Mom pointed out birds and other animals and insects outlined in the blue sky and let us play in the long grass. Then she called us back to her side and she led us into the red building. A cat with soft yellow fur ran up to Mom.
“Bamboo!” he said and they touched noses. Then Mom said to us, “Come meet your dad!”
I walked up to him and tilted my head. He started purring. Then my siblings came up and TOTALLY ruined the moment “Hiiiiii I’m Spider she’s Web the rule in this family is ignore Web you have to follow the rules blaaaaaaaa there’s more of us look say hi,” “I’m Mouse!” “I’m Sparrow!” “I’m Robin!” then they all started chanting “Ignore Web! Ignore Web!” and pranced around Dad’s feet. He stepped over them and went next to mom. I went in between them. Mom made us walk up a ‘ramp’ (what’s a ramp?) So we were higher. Two cats came to greet us, one calico and one with gray and white splotches, kinda like me.
“Hi,” the calico one said, “I’m Mika!”
The other one gave a polite nod of his head and said, “I’m Stitch.”
“You’re weird,” Spider said to Stitch. My siblings nodded but my parents had left to find some mice so they didn’t get in trouble. My siblings went to play with Mika and I stayed with Stitch.
“Hi Stish,” I said. He gave a mroww of laughter and said, “It’s Stitch. Why don’t we go play? I’ll teach you to climb.”
I nodded my head and we went down the ramp and found a wooden pole. He started sheathing and unsheathing his claws. I copied him.
Them he taught me to grab onto the bark. Mom and Dad let us come here every day. Within a month I could climb just about anything. One day I saw him whispering to Mom and Dad.
“C’mere,” he said and he lead me out of the barn.
My heart started pounding in my chest. I was 4 months old but I didn't want to go out of the barn without mom. Also it was night. The full moon gave us light so I could see the grassland at the edge of the farm. The dried up lake with shining rocks glimmered in the moonlight. I saw silhouettes of animals on the edge of the lake. I was sitting on the other side of the fence, on the grass, watching them. I think one saw me, cause there was one running over. I was so scared I couldn't move.
“Hi, I’m Adder, a forest health dog for the Forest Group. What are you doing here?”
I looked behind me. Stitch was gone. “Stitch,” I called into the darkness, “Mom? Dad? Sparrow? Spider? Mouse? Robin! Mika! HELP!” I was breathing heavily like I just ran 100 miles. The world started spinning. Then everything went black.
