Climate change is happening whether you believe it or not, and it’s been happening for a while now.

Earth is not bearing well. She’s being affected negatively in so many ways.

We are facing climate change as never before: rising sea levels, rising air temperatures, melting ice. It’s negatively affecting so many animal and plant species, too.

So, so many more things are happening as a result of climate change, and Earth can't hold out.

We are this century's generation, the ones who will be living in this new, affected world. But soon, it might be too late to do anything about climate change.

It has been left long enough. It’s time that more people rise up against climate change. It’s time more people make their voices heard.

It’s time to take action NOW.

Here are some simple but effective ways to make small, positive changes in your life. It’s so important that we do our best, even if it seems minute. The more people who do their bit, the more people will too!

➡ Go to a school strike against climate! There should be one in your local city. The next one is in September
➡ Reduce your carbon emissions! If possible, try walking or using public transport rather than driving
➡ Reduce your electricity use. Be aware of machines left running, lights left on etc.
➡ Eat less meat, or even become vegetarian or vegan. If this isn’t possible for you, try going without meat once a week
➡ Shop at local fruit and vegetable markets rather than at the supermarket. This way you are crating less emissions
➡ Reduce, reuse, recycle! Compost, use reusable bags, don’t accept plastic bags, purchase sustainable products, etc.
    ➡ Plant trees
    ➡ Conserve water
➡ Use paper straws instead of plastic straws
➡ Ask restaurants to use cardboard takeaway containers instead of polystyrene
➡ Try growing your own food
➡ Limit purchasing products with palm oil
➡ Be involved in the Scratch community: make projects, join studios, spread awareness, etc.

Put your ideas in the comments to be added. Thanks to @laymonade and @g0nk for their contributions!
