Instructions

This project uses the PICO Board (ScratchBoard) light sensor and slider. To get started you need to calibrate your minimum and maximum light sensor values. Cover the light sensor and press the "Down" key. Then put maximum light on the sensor and press the "Up" key. Now you can play different musical scales by passing lights and shadows over the sensor. You can change the scale by choosing whatever scale you want in the long script. You have to change the scale in two spots.

You can use the slider to change the instrument. You can also play with different note times, delays between notes, and scale numbers (default is C scale, 60).

To add other scales, use the Midi Note Numbers listed at this site: http://www.grantmuller.com/MidiReference/doc/midiReference/ScaleReference.html

Have fun!
