Musical Programming Colours
This is a resource to be used for musical programming. Start by showing that a sequence of notes creates a song. E.g. red, red, red, orange, yellow, yellow, orange, yellow, green, blue etc. plays 'Row your Boat'.
Pupils can then create their own sequence using coloured cards and play them.
To teach algorithms and simple programs in KS1 and upper P Scales. Emphasises importance of order - changing the sequence of colours changes the tune.
