The After Dark Showboard Cardboard Skateboard
Press and release the up, down, left, and right keys in the order shown on the board to do the trick that the 8-bit skater is thinking about. On the board, 1 corresponds to the down key, 2 corresponds to the up key, and 3 corresponds to either the left or right key, depending on whether it is right or left of the 2 square.
Built for use with cardboard controller built in the Learning Studio at the Exploratorium for the "Freestyle" themed After Dark event in the Tinkering Studio on August 1, 2013. The cardboard controller was built using a MaKey MaKey connected to the up, down, left, and right arrow keys as well as ground. The ground was connected to a metallic silver watch (i.e., skater bling). The cardboard skateboard controller was built by Michael Gubbels and Michael Smith-Welch. This Scratch project was built by Michael Gubbels.
