simple drums

Notes and Credits

This is an example of a simple Scratch Picoboard drum simulator.

Building the 'drums' I have two foil covered paper plates attached to the A and B resistance sensors.

One of the aligator clips from each sensor is attached to a plate.

The other aligator clip from both sensors is attached to wires that connect to the 'drumsticks'

It can be a little tricky to get the right aligator clips attached to the plates and drumsticks. First get the drumsticks working with one of the drums. Then attach one aligator clip from the B sensor to the second plate. If you're lucky, this will work great. If it just plays constantly, or doesn't play...switch the connection between the sensor and the second plate to the other aligator clip.

This is because one of the clips is 'ground', but there's not enough room to explain it here.
