In 1704, Sebastien Truchet considered all possible patterns formed by tilings of right triangles oriented at the four corners of a square.

Press the green "Random Sequence" button to randomly pick a new tiling sequence.

Press the green "Set Sequence" button to enter in a 1 through 4 digit sequence number representing the tiling pattern as described below.

Press the green flag to start tiling.

The tiles are as follows;
1 = upper left corner right triangle
2 = upper right corner right triangle
3 = lower left corner right triangle
4 = lower right corner right triangle

Note: the above numbers represent a 2 by 2 block of 4 triangluar tiles which tesselate from the lower left corner of the display.
