Hey guys, this is really an urgent message, i've been waiting even since the release of 2.0 for a fix but it just hasn't happened,

What I need to do by tomorrow is upload music to add as the final piece of my project, sounds easy, but it is down right impossible.
I simply cannot upload any sound whatsoever, i'ts really bugging me out as if I can't upload any sound, my final product will be awful, i mean who wants to play a game with no audio?

I'm going to try upload my sound via 1.4 but idk if it will work through my backpack.
Any ideas?

Well, idk, i've tried alot of formats (.mp3,.ogg, .wav etc) and it occurs with every piece of sound I try to upload, so its not secluded to a single format or sound file

I can upload sounds just fine. What OS/browser are you using?

Okay, now I can't upload any sounds either. >_< When I click upload, the progress bar flashes but then disappears. Does that sound like the problem you're having?

EDIT: Ah, okay, it just didn't like the format. It objected to 44100Hz WAV files, but 22050Hz ones work just fine…

EDIT2: Ignore that, they both work fine. But I'm sure it wasn't working before. Weird… You're sure it's not just very picky about what files it'll accept?

That is exactly my issue Yay, so it isn't just me!

I think it might be, see above…

Certain, every single sound file i have, big or small, no matter what format, it just wont work.

I'm really quite disappointed with Scratch 2.0, I mean it looks awesome, feels awesome and is awesome, but bugs like this audio bug are really annoying, and wouldn't happen if it wasn't browser based (in my opinion), I believe 2.0 should still be an alpha thing, I suggest 1.4 if your making a major project (like me), and 2.0 for little games and things that aren't for school.

Anyway, back on topic xD

When you try to upload a sound, what do the sound file icons look like? Are they small bars or large, square thumbnails?

I can't check atm because none of my projects will load.

Maybe just open whatever folder you're trying to import sounds from and see if the icons are thumbnails or bars…

I think you need help from the st. You should report the post so that an st member, or even a mod, gets here.

Hmm, we need to be able to reproduce this before we can fix it. Can you give us one of your audio files that will not upload? Dropbox or something?

That and your browser / OS would be helpful - and any security software you have installed.
This issue doesn't appear to effect Mac or Linux users, so it's possible that Windows is stepping on the process in some way, causing it to fail.

Here is what i'm using;
Browser: Chrome
Security Software: Trend Micro 2012 Titanium and Malware Bytes PRO
all pieces of audio I try upload simply does not work. I've even tried uploading a piece fo audio I recorded in Scratch 1.4
