Sound editor doesn't work
I was trying to import a song and I had to try numerous times. After a few times I got one song in, but it said the song was 0:00. When I pressed play it wouldn't play anything. That song was in mp3 format.
I imported another song and it went in. But it twice as long because it played at half-speed. So it was half as fast as normal. Whats wrong with it?
EDIT: The second song I imported was either mp3 or wav format. Don't remember which. I was using Google Chrome.

This same problem happened to me. I asked a professional and she said it is probably because the song has a copyright on it.

I bet the second song was a WAV format. You can convert the first song into a WAV online. That should work.

Importing music into Audacity and then Exporting it usually does the trick, even if you export it as an MP3.
No I don't make projects anymore. I left some time ago.
I only check the forums every now and then, but other than that consider me retired.

mp3 format.
Same thing happens to me
Convert the MP3 file into a WAV file and publish it.
It should work.
If no, use a song from another project AFTER you ask for permission.
