Can a user be banned/warned for doing this to me?

So I think there are rules in remixing like changing characters around (or atleast some projects say FOLLOW THE RULES: no editing sprites etc..) so can a user be banned for this? I won't say the name of the user and I already sent a complaint but in remixes he keeps changing my characters into scratch cat. is this allowed? because it is kind of annoying :L

Yeah, it is allowed. Luckily, the new remix system makes it much harder for anyone to share without the tag.

Under the share-alike license, he is allowed to change things to the project as long as he gives credit to the original owner.

I see that there is automatic credit given in the remix history. It would be nice if he/she would give credit in the notes as well - but automatic credit is usually considered sufficient.

A remix has to have something changed for it to be allowed on scratch but since something in this person's remix was changed then yes, it would be allowed.

Man, I hate when people do this. It's intolerable and it just makes me so mad. Like, a lot more mad than I should be.

I wish more was done about this. Like, you would flag the project, the ST would deem it a copy and remove it or something.

But no.
