so please… in the modern ui, its almost impossible to get rid of messages showing them as new ones. in the classic ui it works! but in the modern ui you still need the same skills to break a shell from a Nokia 3310! like why cant i just open messages and then job done? i literally have to spend minutes! fix this please!

scratch-www has had this issue since its introduction where going to messages doesn't immediately reset the counter to zero- rather, it takes a minute or so to go away.

This will probably be fixed in the NGP.
