This makes no sense, Scratch team
I am constantly trying to bring something up in the contact us forums so you can take it down but you keep saying "We know that you may need to use Scratch for school assignments. We unfortunately can't prioritize your appeal because of this. You are welcome to download the Scratch App for your device which will allow you to create projects offline without accessing the Scratch community: https://scratch.mit.edu/download". I am NOT trying to appeal a ban at all, and I want to know why you thought it would be a good idea to have a bot automatically assume rather a message, especially a message under the category “Something innapropriate” would be trying to get an appeal. It makes no sense and this basically makes Scratch less safe.

Just wanna put this out there in case any ST member sees this post

I honestly don't ST should redirect to the offline editor for things like this especially if its related to school. Many schools only allow downloading whitelisted apps and not all schools whitelist Scratch's offline editor. For some reason Scratch Jr is whitelisted but not the actual Scratch offline editor on a school device I have which has caused problems for multiple competitions I've done.
I've tried seeing if it would let me download an app from the internet instead of Google Play but opening it just gives a pop-up saying that you can't open it due to the admins banning nearly all apps. I'd assume this is the case for some other schools as well.

(#2)With the online editor being a literal static site, I don't see the harm in just letting people use it with no social actions at all. Sure, lack of access is a consequence to the user's actions, but they can literally use any other Scratch mod that has an online editor (which isn't really, because once it downloads it's just a static page)

A lot of those mods are blocked and idk why some schools haven't whitelisted Scratch yet.(#2)With the online editor being a literal static site, I don't see the harm in just letting people use it with no social actions at all. It is weird that they confuse a report with an appeal
If you have the ticket ID, you can try to report this as a bug

Yeah, I've noticed this too with the contact us responses and it makes contact us just feel useless or like talking to a wall

Yeah, I've noticed this too with the contact us responses and it makes contact us just feel useless or like talking to a wallYea Scratch's report system occasionally decides it's too lazy to load a report. you can't bring it to the forums and most of the time it is not even bad enough to even bother doing so, and sometimes contact us is the only option. You'd think that Scratch wouldn't have a bot decide rather a report to contact us should or should not be acknowledged.
