about the writer

hello! my name is lucy/lucian, i go by she/he/they pronouns and i've been in the warrior cats community for around seven years at this point. i've been drawing since i could pick up a crayon, roleplaying online since seven years old, and started roleplaying on scratch since i was around 8 years old. i'm so excited to have this opportunity as i've been wanting to do a good re-do at tfcrp for quite a while now.

activity

my activity is a bit inconsistent, but generally stays around the 6-8/10 range. i start about 3-5 threads every week in the roleplay i'm already in. even though i would love to sit at my computer and roleplay warrior cats all day, i do have a life outside of scratch. though homework thankfully doesn't take up a majority of my time, i also do color guard and i like to watch youtube, read, and call with friends. as i get home at around 4:30 everyday and go to bed at 10:00 pm, that leaves around six hours to do all those things. fortunately, writing characters and roleplaying happens to be one of my top hobbies, so i try to do it mostly on the weekends when i have more time and energy.

previous characters + experience

as previously mentioned, i've been roleplaying for maybe around six years on scratch at this point after being in the roblox warrior cats community for a while. my first tfcrp character was snazzydazzle, followed by fawnsunder which is i believe my only two? i can't exactly remember. neither of which i was very active with, but i was a depressed and mismanaging twelve year old so that was probably a big factor. nowadays, i've been roleplaying on generations. my current character is marigoldcherish, 16 moons old, who is having his first litter currently and, although isn't as fleshed out as i'd like him to be, is very near and dear to my heart. my previous generations character was mosquitopaw. despite being a bit of a joke character, she caused a lot of drama with her pre-mature death which i think was very interesting to watch, so i also hold her pretty close. all in all, i am much more active and experienced than i was when i first began roleplaying.

reasoning

for a while now, i've been looking for a good set-up, character design, and roleplay to bring this character idea to. one day, i saw one of my mutuals favorite this litter, clicked on it, and fell in love after reading the backstory. i don't want to spoil too much, but i've been holding onto this personality and lore idea since 2025. not only that, her design is just gorgeous. i've always been a big fan of maximalist designs and angel motifs, which said motifs happen to go perfectly with what i'm planning. there's so much potential foreshadowing and symbolism in her design, and so much potential for tense familial dynamics that i couldn't resist trying my luck at winning evanescekit.

detailed

evanescekit, despite her dark and gloomy appearance, is an almost blindingly sunny cat. she's always willing to look on the bright side of things, almost too much. her undying positivity easily leads to naivety. believing that most if not all have good intentions towards her, she's pretty susceptible to manipulation. when faced with an unfamiliar situation, she does her best to think of the positives - or she doesn't think at all. half of the time, she charges in with an “act first, think later” mentality. evie is not only optimistic, but friendly as well. she's eager to put in her two cents, and always looking for a new friend. some may be jealous of her extroversion, but most find it welcoming. evanescekit is empathetic, perhaps overly so, to others' situations. she typically takes solving their problems into her own hands, even if it's unwanted, unaware of her intrusion on their lives.
she has a passion for games and stories, both at which she excels at. running around, tussling, and getting her paws dirty, all of which she finds exciting. she'll sneak attack people and randomly strike up a conversation, however it's typically a poorly placed attitude and comes off as intruding. similarly to her father, evanescekit has an affinity for story-telling and a love for making up characters to act out while playing. although she herself finds poems rather boring to make up, theatrics happen to be much more thrilling in her opinion.
