One of the only thing that gets my Scratch project 1000-2000 views is by adding it to an SDS. I honestly do not believe quality has to do with view count or most of the views anyways because occasionally, projects that would get 1 view (counting the creator's view) and maybe it's second view nearly a decade later end up with 3000 views. So what actually determines what gets a project views? or how exactly do some projects manage thousands or more of views?

I would recommend helping people around the forum to get more well known and eventually, people will start to check out your projects!

You do realize most other scratch projects with thousands of views users have most likely never even been on the forums before right

That's not what they meant. What they said is helping around the Scratch community will help you to become more known, as people who see you around will click on your profile and then maybe your projects. There are tons of ways to help your projects get some more recognition; that's why there's a whole forum dedicated to it. I recommend reading the stickies in the Show and Tell forum.

I don’t even get 1000 views after adding it to sds i get 600

Actually I have seen griffpatch post on a few topics but I unfortunately do not have the link to his posts since I can't access forumfind rn.

adding your projects to lots of studios regularly help a loooooooooooooooooot, i have been getting around 50-100 views per day on some of my games for the past 2 months just by doing this, which might not sound like much but when you consider i'm some random guy who is not popular on the site that's kinda a lot

and not to mention I don't really add my projects to studios that I do not curate because there was and maybe still is a glitch where when someone who isn't a curator tries to add a project to a studio it may not add it. You will see it in the studio, until you refresh the page and only 2/6 projects you added are still there.

They probably shared it with their friends, which they shared to their friends, etc, Idk. it was just my idea of becoming popular.

Why does it seem like Scratch 3.0 removed so many useful features the editor/website had??

They do also add to a ton of popular studios.
