Hello!

I am a longtime Scratch user (my current account was created in 2019) and I would like help recovering a really old account I created as a child. I created it (probably as a student account) in 2016-2018 at a library program. I only remember the username had ‘superguy’ somewhere in it; however I distinctly and clearly remember the password, which I will not share here. I was able to find a list of candidates, ~4 of which are plausible. Interestingly, I remember logging back into the account many years later, but that was still a long time ago compared to now. So I doubt the account is closed. If it was a student account though; none of the candidates I found have a ‘Student of: ’ attachment under the username. So I'd like to ask you guys if it's possible for the ‘Student of ’ thing to not be there despite the account once being a student account. Thanks!

Some more details:
- I already tried to recover the account with an email, to no avail. Most likely they made me use the library email, or we used my mom's work email which no longer exists.
- I don;t think I had any shared projects or social interactions with the account.
- I remember some project details of unshared projects. Vaguely though. (It was like 10 years ago!)

In this issue, only the ST would be able to help you with this matter. Use Contact Us to communicate directly with the Scratch Team, who will surely provide the best help the can. Make Sure to include everything you remember about your Account, username (even if vaguely) the password, Potential email adress as well as any tiny bit of Information you may have additionally. (Like country selected and language etc). About the Student Label, if it was a Student account it should still be labeled as such, but if it was it may be deleted or defintitely closed since I think when the teachers Account deletes the clase, it disables the Student Account, I think. Anyways, it's better if you contact and consult the matter with them. Good luck!

You have to wait until it has been at least 24 hours since the first post for the Close Topic button to show up or click report on the first post and say that you're trying to close a resolved topic or sth like that (the report button is also for other stuff like resolved topics or no longer relevant topics, not just stuff that breaks the rules)

I am honestly very impressed and happy for you as well, since Scratch Team members usually never respond to account things like these directly on the thread (rather wait months on Contact Us). So this is quite amazing to see.

They do reply on account things they sometimes see in the forums, it's not that rare to see a scratch member reply to certain matters only they can resolve, even though Contact Us is the best approach, issues get solved here in the Forums every now and then.
