What happened to the horizontal scratch blocks? did they just get sent to scratch jr instead? and why do when i search scratch on the costume search it shows up scratch cat? (even tough their name is Cat-a Cat-b)

Horizontal blocks on actual scratch would be a scrolling nightmare since there’s more inputs

ScratchJr is just icons which is shorter than normal scratch blocks.

i checked the wiki and it said that most people didnt like it, but i think it would be good for some people that cant read and are in the age to use normal scratch (even tough you dont need to use scratch jr if you are 8)

and i also think that some blocks like

< online? ::sensing >

would be impossible to convert to a horizontal block, only if it would be like:

⠀᠍᠍᠍ᯤ ?::sensing

The wiki article is wrong: the ST never said that horizontal blocks would be in Scratch 3.0. Several comments from developers seem to indicate that they were intended for ScratchJr:

One developer said they experimented with horizontal blocks mode but never finished it.

Each item in the library can have invisible tags in addition to its name. When you type “bird” in the search bar, several bird sprites appear, even though they don't have “bird” in their name. Similarly, searching for “alex eben meyer” shows sprites that were drawn by Alex Eben Meyer.
